I have been on the water and around boats since I was a little boy. I have grown to love and respect the ocean as a way of life. I am a Veteran of the US Military, and I have served in the Arabian Gulf in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
I have gained most of my professional sea time while serving in the United States Coast Guard and have received numerous medals and commendations. Prior to my Military service, I was an Assistant Harbor Master to the Dennis Harbor Master in Dennis, MA. I have also worked in the docking and rigging department at Newport Shipyard in Newport, RI.

Tahoma is 270ft cutter with 7,200HP. I currently act as one of four Deck Watch Officers while the ship is underway. Responsibilities include ensuring the safe navigation of the ship and proper execution of all navigational watches. In addition, I routinely conn the ship into her mooring at different ports of call through out the world.
- WRANGELL DEC 2008 - DEC 2009
The Wrangell is an 110ft motor vessel with 5,600HP. The vessel was home ported in the Kingdom of Bahrain located in the Arabian Gulf. While aboard, I served as one of four Deck Watch Officers responsible for the safe navigation and operation of the vessel, in areas of the world that require the highest level of situational awareness due to political and military turmoil. The vessel operated in the territorial waters of Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Ridley is an 87ft motor vessel with 3,000HP. I was one of three Deck Watch Officers. I was also responsible for the maintenance and repair of all deck equipment, the vessels small boat and the overall condition of the vessel. The vessel operated in the Atlantic ocean from Canada to New Jersey.

The Jarvis is a 378ft cutter with 33,000HP. While aboard I served as a deck hand and master helmsman, I was on the helm during mooring evolutions. I also was responsible for the maintenance, repair and appearance of the interior and exterior of the vessel. The vessel operated in the Pacific ocean from Alaska to South America.
